A Fuso truck transporting numerous traders from Paidha town council and other places , predominantly women , returning from the Awasi weekly market in DR Congo, overturned at Ayuda Hill, Thanga Parish, Abanga Sub County.

No fatalities has been recorded.

The July 24 , 2025, 8:00 PM Thursday incident, reportedly resulted in multiple injuries, with two pregnant women critically injured and transported to nearby medical facilities.

Eyewitnesses report the driver attempted to navigate a narrow road section to bypass a stationary truck under repair on the incline.

Others attribute the crash to the road's poor condition.

This publication witnessed Significant cargo damage , leaving many traders stranded.

As of this report, vehicles bound for DR Congo remain immobilized due to the impassable route.

By Press time, traffic police were yet to arrive at the scene.
