Zoomer Community Guidelines
Acceptance of Terms: By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Community Guidelines, which are part of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Age Requirement: You must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms. If you are under 18, you must obtain consent from your parent or legal guardian to use the Site.
Respect Intellectual Property: Do not post content that violates any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
Prohibited Content: Do not upload, transmit, display, or distribute any User Content that is:
Unlawful, harassing, abusive, tortious, threatening, harmful, invasive of another's privacy, vulgar, defamatory, false, intentionally misleading, trade libelous, pornographic, obscene, patently offensive.
Promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual.
Harmful to minors in any way.
Violates any law, regulation, or obligation or restriction imposed by any third party.
Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:
- Transmit software intended to damage or alter a computer system or data.
- Send unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of duplicative or unsolicited messages.
- Harvest, collect, gather, or assemble information or data regarding other users without their consent.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on servers or networks connected to the Site, or violate the regulations, policies, or procedures of such networks.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, whether through password mining or any other means.
- Harass or interfere with any other user's use and enjoyment of the Site.
- Use any software, automated agents, or scripts to create multiple accounts on the Site, or to generate automated searches, requests, or queries to the Site.
- Copyrighted Content: If any music, sound, or other content is copyrighted, it will be removed or muted from public view for violating these guidelines and the terms of use.
- Consequences of Violation: We reserve the right to review any User Content and take appropriate action, including removing or modifying your User Content, terminating your account, and/or reporting you to law enforcement authorities, if you violate these guidelines.
- Compliance with Ugandan Laws: You must ensure that your use of the Site and all User Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations of Uganda, including but not limited to the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, and the Computer Misuse Act.
Content Restrictions
In addition to the prohibitions listed in the Community Guidelines, the following restrictions apply to content posted on the site:
No Infringement: Content must not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
No Illegal Content: Content must not promote or depict illegal activities.
No Harmful Content: Content must not be harmful to minors or promote violence, hate speech, or discrimination.
No Spam or Deceptive Content: Content must not be spam, misleading, or deceptive.
Respect Privacy: Content must not violate the privacy of others.
These guidelines and restrictions are in place to ensure a safe and respectful community for all users, and to comply with the laws of Uganda.
