Hon. Songa is a great leader in Uganda and to Ora County in Greater Nebbi which he has served for 9 years now.

As Chairperson of the Committee on Climate Change in Uganda he ensured that out of 146 Districts, 37 were selected and Zombo and Nebbi included for the following projects included Nebbi and Zombo

1. UNCDF funded LoCAL; the local climate action constructed Namthin bring and Pagisi road on Zombo- Nebbi road.

2. ⁠ LoCAL projects also constructed FADA bridge and the road connecting Atyenda to Warr sub county via Gotcam

3. ⁠Being the current Chair of the Committee, Hon Songa is pushing for more bridges and roads to be funded and constructed in Zombo under the Climate resilient infrastructure. Give hime time 2026-2031 if we need Development

4. ⁠Hon Songa has also pushed and influenced the inclusion of Climate smart agricultural projects in Zombo including the construction of Climate smart roads from Patera to Abakamel market to Nyandima to Oru church and from Abakamel market to Yiil to Kalowang road with construction of Adhii and Nyagak bridge at Yiil.

Money already allocated and project Engineers have already visited the ground. Work will start soon. He needs time to supervise this and ensured it is well completed.

5. ⁠Under Oilseed projects already the road from Yamu centre to Ugudu Ora bridge is done connecting atyak to Lazebu Arua District 

6. ⁠Also the Oilseed will also construct the road from Atheju to Ayaka to Yiima to Mavura in Athuma sub county and Adida bridge will be constructed.

7. ⁠Hon Songa led the members of Committee on climate change to Nyagak pa Kiru in Ayaka and pushed for funds to construct the Nyagak bridge in this budget and Ministry of Works and transport will soon start the work of the bridge and road to connect Akaa to Jang okoro seeds secondary school 

8. ⁠The about advantaged projects has made Resources available to Zombo District hence the one billion shillings allocated by budget committee of Parliament to which Hon Songa is a member to Zombo District made many roads to be constructed including Ngume to Kigezi to Zale, Alangi to Agiermach, Yothu to Winam to Yamu, Zombo to Warr,Zeu LORR to Ngele etc.

Next is Alangi- Omua- Kango, Aligu -Odoria- Andhosi - borderline to Lendu forest station, Alangi to borderline, Ayaka to Jupaley Market, Zeu to Golajo,Conguba to Ayaka to Zale etc etc. He needs time.

9. ⁠Hon Songa is pushing for many pending roads and bridges including Ora in Paduba, Amuda, Ora on Usii Road, Athuda bridge to Mulonde market Alangi etc and of course the Main road from Nebbi to Zombo to Vurra. He is in the middle. Let him complete these in the next five years.

10. Next list will be on Water, Energy projects Hon Songa pushed to Zombo through his Committee. Also Health, ICT and Education projects Hon Songa pushed and is pushing through his budget and ICT committee.
