Qatar is advancing its digital asset and blockchain ecosystem through several initiatives:
🔹 QFC: Introduced its Digital Assets Regulations in September 2024, covering tokenisation, digital asset ownership, and smart contracts.
🔹 QFC Digital Asset Lab: In September 2025, partnered with AlRayan Bank, Blade Labs, and Hashgraph on a blockchain proof of concept for digital promissory notes and Sharia-compliant finance.
🔹 CRA: Published Qatar's National Blockchain Blueprint in 2023 to promote blockchain adoption across government and business.
⚠️ These developments demonstrate Qatar's growing interest in blockchain technology.
