SMART SAM'S SERVICE FOUNDATION UGANDA has been actively working towards creating a better world through various initiatives.

Here's a summary of their achievements in 2024:

Community Development:

• Reached over 45,000 people with community development support, tackling infrastructure challenges by:

Infrastructure Development:

• Distributing 200 iron sheets for affordable housing in 8 subcounties of Zombo District
• Repairing 5 footprint bridges in 5 subcounties
• Repairing 10 feeder roads in 8 subcounties of Zombo District

Health:

• Conducting 5 radio talk shows on mental health in West Nile region
• Organizing community dialogue meetings against HIV/AIDS stigma

Education:

• Sharing messages of self-worth, career development, and self-love in 22 primary and secondary schools across Nebbi, Zombo, and Pakwach districts

Economic Empowerment:

• Training over 5,000 youths on employment opportunities and employability

Sports:

• Hosting football events (Easter Cup, Independence Cup, and Christmas Cup) that attracted over 11,000 youths
• Distributing 50 match balls to 25 area football clubs

Culture and Tourism:

• Promoting cultural diversity and preservation of cultural heritage in Uganda

Environmental Management:

• Organizing clean-up exercises in towns and congested centers
•  Distributing and planting 2,000 tree seedlings

Policy Analysis and Research:

• Providing policy analysis through focused group discussions and article contributions
• Participating in TV and radio talk shows on Uganda Parish Development Model and Coffee Bill analysis

The organization managed to raise over 36 million Ugandan shillings (approximately $10,000) to implement these activities.
