As a social policy analyst,I'm excited to share the vast opportunities in coffee farming, particularly in West Nile and Northern Uganda. The Alur land of Erussi-Goli corridor in Nebbi District and entire belt of Zombo Districts is well-suited for fine Arabica coffee, while Robusta coffee thrives in the lowlands of almost all districts in Northern Uganda.

The Benefits of Coffee Farming.

Coffee is a golden cash crop that offers numerous benefits, including:Health advantages from consuming coffee, economic growth for individuals and communities, employment opportunities in farming, processing,& trade, it's also a potential source of retirement income.

My success Stories.

I've witnessed the positive impact of coffee farming in our region. In Dima, Kiryandongo District low land belt, many farmers have planted Robusta coffee doing extremely well , and one notable example is my brother, Opio Desmond Tutu inspired & is set to establish acre's model coffee farm.

My experience working with Kawacom (U) Ltd, Paidha Branch from 2015 to 2019, under the leadership of Mr. Kipira Robert buying department, provided me with valuable insights into the coffee industry. The company's support for farmers and commitment to promoting coffee production is commendable.

A Call to Action to my fellow youths, I encourage you to consider investing in coffee production before it's too late. With guidance from agricultural extension officers available at Kawacom (U) Ltd and area district headquarters, you can start planning for a better future.Coffee farming offers a promising opportunity for economic growth and retirement planning among other benefits.

If you're interested in coffee farming, here are some steps to take: Contact agricultural extension officers for guidance, choose the right coffee variety for your region, plant, and maintain your coffee farm using best practices.

By embracing coffee farming, we can unlock economic potential, improve livelihoods, and build a brighter future for ourselves and our communities.
