The entertainment fraternity in Zombo district has announced a joint prayer session for fallen musician Jacob Marley, who passed away in the early hours of Saturday.

Chairperson of the West Nile Music Association, Jawotho James, confirmed the plans, describing the loss as a heavy blow to the local scene.

Jacob Marley, said to be in his early 30s, had been battling a number of underlying conditions.

James Jawotho, alias Jay Jagz, stated: "We will coordinate with all the artists and ghetto colleagues to hold prayers for our fallen soldier and think if all goes as planned, we shall hold it on Wednesday."

The Thailand Ghetto President first shot into the music scene around 2014 with his foot-stomping inspirational and development-oriented banger Dongo Ngom, in which he encouraged everyone to work hard to develop Paidha and Zombo together.

Condolence messages continue to pour in online for the beloved artist.

Paidha-based producer Robert Ruva, alias Ruvie Pro  who produced at least 60% of his music projects  paid tribute saying: "Oh sorry R.I.P fallen soldier. It was always fun working with you. You believed in me when many didn't. We had plans to revive our music carriers but God had other plans for both of us. Till we meet again. Jacob Marley. Thailand soldier!"

James Jawotho alias Jay Jagz, the chairperson of the West Nile Music Association, described the news as "Sad," revealing that for over two years Jacob had been down battling Liver Cyrosis and kidney failure.

"He’s one of the boys that mentored me and welcomed to Thailand Ghetto Paidha in the early 2010s after the loss of my mum. He introduced to the usual paidha town hustles ‘Blocka’ at Pepsi Depot where we worked for over 4 years," Jawotho added.

According to Jawotho, the fallen soldier is also remembered for embracing Rolling Snake   the current household music star  into the Paidha street community when he came to establish himself back home in Paidha town.

Jacob Marley, a coolheaded talented artist and member of Thailand Ghetto Stage in Paidha town council  where most of the boys operate a washing bay  was laid to rest in Nyapea, his mother's place, on Saturday.

This latest loss comes months after the entertainment industry in April lost fast-rising Zombo comedy star Safi, a beloved figure known for his sharp wit and energetic performances.Jacob Marley ( R.I.P
