*🕊️ WHO IS TRULY PATIENT AND GRATEFUL? 🕊️*

*The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:*

There are *two qualities* — whoever possesses them, *Allah will record him as patient (Ṣābir) and grateful (Shākir).* And whoever does not have them, *Allah will not write him down as patient and grateful.*

*These two qualities are:*

*1. When a person looks at someone who is above him in religious matters and tries to follow him*
*2. And when he looks at someone who is below him in worldly matters and he thanks Allah for giving him more than that person*

*Allah will write such a person as both patient and grateful.*

*But whoever*
- *Looks at those below him in religion and*
- *Looks at those above him in worldly matters and regrets what he has not been given*

*Allah will not record him as patient and grateful.*
