Kayihura, Jim Muhwezi, and Hon. Okumu Gabriel Assigned Patriotic Officer Numbers

The Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has assigned Patriotic Officer Numbers to several senior leaders, including Gen. Kale Kayihura, Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Jim Muhwezi Katugugu, and Hon. Okumu Gabriel, Member of Parliament for Okoro County.
The appointments were officially announced today, 5 July 2026, by the PLU Secretary General, Hon. Fadhil Twalla. The assignment of Patriotic Officer Numbers forms part of the organization's efforts to strengthen its leadership structure and expand patriotic mobilization across the country.
